A First Look At Younique Beachfront Self-Tanning Spray and Lotions!

On March 1st Younique launched a new line of AMAZING Self-Tanning Products! Just in time for spring, you don’t have to wait to get a gorgeous sun kissed look!

The Younique Beachfront Self-Tanning Lotion and Spray are giving people the most natural looking tans I have ever seen in just 1-3 applications. The best part? Nobody looks orange and the ingredients are all natural! I have heard they smell incredible (no nasty smell while the color develops) and I am impatiently waiting to get mine in!

Most of these pictures show it applied on the legs, but that is only to show the difference in the most dramatic way. It can be used on any part of the body including the face and is best applied to clean exfoliated skin. Apply as many times as needed to get the desired level of tan. Should last as long as a normal spray tan would about 7-10 days.

  1. Is the tanning product hypoallergenic and is it safe while breastfeeding? How long does the color last before another application is needed? Will it clog pores?

    • Audrey's Younique says:

Hi Pat, as far as if it is safe for Breastfeeding as with anything else we have to suggest you ask your doctor. The ingredients are naturally based and they don’t contain harmful chemicals but we can never say what is safe when it involves pregnancy or breastfeeding. All of our products are generally hypoallergenic and don’t clog pores but it is always wise to do a patch test just in case because different ingredients can effect people differently.

  2. How long after applying one application should I wait before applying another for a darker color? Should I rinse off first before applying second application?

    • Audrey's Younique says:

You can do another application as soon as it dries but you can also wait about 12 hours, rinse off the bronzer and then reapply. Just whatever your preference is. Waiting might be best atleast the first time so you can see how dark it is before applying more.

  3. Hi. I just ordered the beach front self tanning lotion. Everytime I put it on it gets all spotty and it won’t let me rub it in all the way or it’ll rub off… I’ve tried using just a little and I’ve also tried adding another layer and I just can’t get it to blend. It definitely doesn’t rub in as easy as lotion unless I’m doing it wrong. I shower first, shave, and exfoliate and I just don’t know what else to do to get it right. Please help.

    • Audrey's Younique says:

Hi, it sounds like you are over rubbing it. There is bronzer in it that is just a guide to show you where you are applying it and it does not need to be rubbed in like a lotion, when you did that you will see the bronzer start to come off like you mentioned and it can lead to streaks. Read this post and watch the video it will show you how to apply it flawlessly 🙂

  4. If you do it all and then after its dry, becomes slightly streaky, is that normal or will it come out streaky after rinsed?

    • Audrey's Younique says:

The streakiness you are seeing is probably the bronzer that is just there as a guide. When you wash it off you shouldn’t have streaks.
