If you are unsure of how to choose from the Light, Medium or Dark Contouring Palette, this guide below may help, especially if you already use our foundations.
Where to Highlight VS Where to Contour
Why you want to Contour and Highlight your face : When we apply our foundation or makeup, typically we are applying one solid color over our entire face. This is where things like brush and bronzer really come in handy, they add some of that color back making your complexion look much more natural and can also define some of the areas of your face. Highlighting does the same thing and brightens the areas of your face where the sun would naturally hit and give you a soft glow. This can make you look more awake and youthful. Contouring helps define those areas where there would normally be a shadow. You can sculpt the hollows of your cheeks to make your face look thinner, your jaw line to hide a double chin or just give you a more chisled look and you can also thin out your nose by adding some contouring cream down the sides.
